‘As part of our web site development programme, before launch, we are publishing a range of content and styles in our news bulletins, so that we can decide on our ‘project voice’.
Do we want plain news paragraphs, images of volunteers and the work our projects do or narrative tales exploring the human elements of our projects? Read these bulletins below and tell us your favourite ‘voice’ for our project’.
Garden Planning for April?
Tips for the late April garden
1.Keep weeds under control
2. Protect fruit blossom from late frosts
3.Tie in climbing and rambling roses
4.Sow hardy annuals and herb seeds
5.Start to feed citrus plants
Our garden guidelines are drawn from the pages of the Royal Horticultural Society.
You can find the RHS monthly news and activity suggestions for your own garden here.
Our own community garden activity plan is developed as a result of the specific crops we have and the seasons, as well as recognising the valuable skills that our volunteers have and maximising their contribution to our project.
